I don't have many photos to be uploaded and shared here, even if I have, I need to wait for my sister's return on Thursday because the photos are with her :) ; so, this post will be lengthy with words, anyway, I still prefer words :)
The night before our trip, I actually went to the cinema and watched "The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey" with my siblings and I actually chiong my maple to LEVEL 100! IT's a three-digits!! If anyone of you, who likes ancient movie background with thick English's culture or villages or atmosphere, and if you like movies like Narnia's, Lord of the Ring, Pirates of the Carribean etc.; "The Hobbit" definitely SUITS you! Trust me, you won't regret watching it. The only thing is, we still need to wait for Part II, Part I ending is like hanging there, the dwarves should have just killed the The Pale Orc before they've moved on, BTW.
A war between the dwarves and the Orc, where the Elves stay in-between. |
Guess what! Dumbledore is casting here -.-!! He's the wizard, everything makes sense having him around in the world. |
Lady Galadriel. Luckily there're some pretty ladies in "The Hobbit"?? Everything's right on track with this lady's help, you will love the Elves's living habitat there, it's peaceful and simply tranquil ;) |
Malacca was overcrowded with visitors, especially the Singaporeans. Even the Bayview Hotel where my family and I stayed, was packed with Singaporeans. You can tell since you can see many car plates begin with a letter "S". The white visitors rather walked on feet with a map lending a helping hand to them, Malacca was occupied by many foreigners, it's just... over flooded with the same species. The cars just get stuck in the middle of traffic jam, the drivers can barely move one step forward when the light turned green. Jonker's Street was famous with its local "chicken rice balls" and it's an exaggerated scenario to watch - people were lining up willingly with an umbrella!! And the queue was... not short I swear! Today it's long, tomorrow it's even longer! Every day it's like that, according to my sisters who currently study in Malacca. It shouldn't be that way anyway. The boss should expand their business by expanding their restaurant so that the room can fit in more craving consumers. The restaurant is two-words - DEAD TINY. One glance I can barely see 4-5 tables, no wonder people were queuing up there.
We reached there at 9.30am and our first destination was my sisters' MMU accommodation. Next year in June, I will be staying in a place like theirs', so I thought I should drop by and have a look. Not bad! A room contains two beds with wooden-stand, a long wooden table which is longer than the windows' length and which one-end is fixed to another end of the corner of the wall, two cupboards, and a ceiling fan. Outside the room, there're...one, two, three... at least three bathrooms, one dining room, one living room and of course, a space to do your laundry. I'm a pure science student, what will it be like to not study science anymore? Well, I guess this is life. I embrace my life and will get tougher and tougher than you thought ;)
We wanted to visit World's heritage "Red House" in Malacca. The road is a one-way route, and my dad drove to a road which should not be taken. Very alertly, my dad did a reverse and... a tricycle was slightly blocking our way. My dad was smiling to the worker as though hoping him to retreat a little bit more so that it made a clear passage to our car. Guess what?? He didn't have business to do that day, must be very mad and burning with anger from inside out?? He neither retreat nor smile back to us the visitors; he stared fiercely at us!! Why on earth there lives a very very RUDE bangla who got accepted to do service in a World's Heritage CITY?? He stared at us and mumbled something which I couldn't catch although I was in the shorted distance with him. Duhh. My dad got really offended (so were we), he opened the car window and started to argue with him in a LOUDER tone. Many visitors and passer-by looked curiously in our direction ( I was slightly embarrassed but very quickly got neutral because I stood by my dad's SIDE). In my vision, you can tell the crowds actually support us! Anyway, we made our way through, when we moved on, I saw a policeman approaching him, and they argued again. We are the visitors. As the businessmen there, you should know the rule number one, #1 "Treat your customers politely" as we're your income == Such an uncivilized person. I was so ashamed!! He can treat us like that which means he will treat other visitors the same way! I'm so worried how well can we persist our country's image in the eyes of the foreigners?
We didn't visit there anymore after that. We moved on to Mahkota Parade, a shopping centre there. You can smell the Christmas air there - fresh and inviting. I bought a DIY doll house at MPH. It's not a kiddie's toy or what, it's actually more complicated than you thought. Materials are provided, you need patience and creativity to rebuild a doll house which I found it fascinating. I love to do something with decorations, accessories, etc. It costs 60 dollar. Haha! We wanted to buy "The Hobbit" series of novels, but we didn't have enough money, plus we're filial type :p , we didn't want dad to spend so much money on this, first, since we had more things to account and expend, like costs for lunch, dinner, tomorrow's breakfast, hotel fees, petrol, etc.
I really dislike the cold environment in the hotel, or any hotels. I started to worry... since I think I will become a traveller one day? What if I catch cold or get sick in the middle of the trip? No way anyway. I won't stay in the hotel, chalet will do. Hahaha!~~~ At night, I watched a bit of "The Planet of the Apes", Astro was provided in the hotel, and we had Fox channel.
Between an alien and an ape, choose only one, and which will you choose?
They said apes will rise and become the most intelligent creature in the future, which... I can't ACCEPT! Apes!! An animal. Animal is smarter than... homo sapiens?? I choose alien. Aliens don't share many similar characteristics with human beings, so it's widely acceptable that they're smarter, compared to the damn apes == although they both are ugly, but... no choice. Keke
I was having the same old dream. Surprisingly, I didn't cry from the dream. I guess I got numb to it and I'm adapting myself for not being loved for the same way I did. Smile~ :)
