"Your pride is bullshit."

Teacher can't just say "yes, we'll curse you, curse the student". I don't want to write something bad here -to be peaceful- but, I can't stand it anymore. I thought of expressing here last time, just afraid I might have taken the wrong step, just to be sure I didn't misjudge someone, just to be sure I won't regret next time.

It's too much. Really too much. Teacher asked us some questions, we didn't answer back (the row next to me and my row). I didn't answer because I really don't know, I haven't a clue about it - If I answered, teacher would be utterly SHOCKED and somehow she would scream (I'm scared*) because I know my answers would be unacceptable; If I didn't answer, she would compare us to the left row and asked us to simply give an answer. CANNOT! I can't give her any answers, I have zero sense of particularly that subject, I'm not fond of it and I don't like it o.o I'm afraid I might have left her fainted on the floor with her unbelievable eyes opened sharply.

Why? Veronicajie, PhoiYih, Phyllis, Katherine and I agreed that our teacher had really changed. She's soooo nice and amiable - when we were Form 3. Now... since when she had become so emotional? Today you have a great and sparkling mood and you tell jokes and cheer us; the next day you have a spoiled mood and you treat us like a "punching bag". It's not of anyone's fault to be emotional sometimes, the thing is when you don't have a great mood, you can't just spread it over and influence others.

Like today, we can't answer her questions (most probably, I), she said sorry that she had to tell the truth- left row students are better than us. She said she hoped she can re-position us so that we can be equally same standard. She even said maybe we don't want to answer her questions because we are too pride of ourselves and

"Your pride is bullshit."

I was so... astonished and somehow, taken aback. What?... I have never heard any teachers said any bad words before, especially in front of the students. Like me, I am a temporarily tuition teacher, I can understand how they feel when the students ignore them; but, I didn't say any bad words to exclaim and draw their attentions. I remember my sister asked my brother a question "你们是不是会被一位老师的举止和教学方式所影响?(Do you get influenced by a teacher's behavior and a teacher's teaching methods?)"

My brother answered yes, definitely.

When I was Form 2, I remember my Chinese teacher had once told me about life, it was an open topic by the way. She told us about one thing that until now I can still remember clearly and every word of it. I didn't know why, it's not that important and not really meaningful (to be honest), but I keep that in mind.

"一个人年纪越大,自尊心也会越强。(As one grows older, one's self-esteem will be higher.)"

Maybe this is the reason why she's getting on her way. But I love her quote today "I believe what I perceive, I perceive what I believe". Well, as her beloved student before, I will just sigh...

dear blog miss,
it happpens that way. I have a teacher who does that too. she typically cursed us if she finds us eating in class..however, note that teachers are still humans and need a place to let out the rage. no worries. she doesn't mean it. my teacher apologized the last day of school ;) well, cheer up!

Haha It always surprised me when someone leaves a comment here ;) Thanks btw! But I don't think she will apologize to us, her self-esteem is very high!
